Course Details:
1st day Time- 3pm- 7pm
Introduction to Ayurveda and South Indian food, medicinal values and health benefits.
Basic masala- preparation
Chutneys, pickles and dosas- preparation.
2nd day Time- 10am- 2pm
Introduction to preparing a full course meal:
Including 2 rice dishes, 2 vegetable dishes, one wheat dish (stuffed paratha), dessert.
3rd day Time- 10am- 2pm
A second full course meal with quick snacks.
Including 1 rice dishes, 1 vegetable dish, snacks- pakoras/ pooris/ upma/ buttermilk/ dessert.
4) Please bring a notebook to make notes on Ayurvedic/ medicinal properties and a camera to take photographs on presentation.
5) Please come prepared to also shop some Indian ingredients locally. We will work out a time for this after the course is over when you can take a look into Indian spice shops and provision stores.
6) A comprehensive cook book is also provided with the course.
